Free searches are limited to a maximum of 100 hits.  If what the user is looking for doesn't fall within the 100, they will need to enter search criteria as oppose to a free search.  By at least entering a state, the user would receive all jobs listed under that state up to a maximum of 100 hits.

However a free search by the simple selection of the location of New York or New Jersey will not only yield vacancies posted within our area, but also locations in upstate NY and southern NJ, and these positions are not part of the New York Metro Area.

A wild card search narrows down your hits, for example if you are searching for Manager, Distribution Operations and Supervisor, Distribution Operations positions,

Under the FULL TEXT SEARCH and in the space provided for SEARCH FOR type in the box 

            *distribution operations* (the symbol before and after is an asterisk)

and select New York from the Location drop down menu,

and all results will list in NY, unless there is more than 100 hits, then you will have to redefine your search.

For example if your are looking only for MDO positions type

            *mgr distribution operations*

or if you are only looking for SDO positions, type in

            *supervisor distribution operations*

Remember a wild card search has an asterisk * in the beginning and end of your search words.

The system is not case sensitive and it does not correct typographical errors.
